About The Band
Don’t Tell Mom is a family band based in Southern California. It’s a musicial family with professional composer George (the dad) and his three musically accomplished daughters Alex, Ana and Ari. DTM plays classic rock from the 60’s through the 80’s. DTM’s music focuses on great, upbeat rock songs from AC/DC to ZZ Top. Check out some of our song list here.

George lives in Southern California, is a professional composer (gabrielmusic.com), producer, musical artist, and teacher. Currently he is working on a reboot of a major kids television show for Nickelodeon, developing his own audio plugins (zapzorn.com), writing a new guitar album, and teaching technical career education for high schoolers.
In Don’t Tell Mom, George sings lead and background vocals, plays electric guitar and keyboards.
Alex started pusuing a career in music after graduting from Westmonst College in 2021. She has written for Disney, has internationally published works in theatre, has a publishing deal with Glow Music Group, and has been writing music under Xan Gabriel (xangabriel.com). In 2022, she moved to Nashville after receiving a scholarship from all women Sound Engineering organization, ‘We Are Moving the Needle’ to study at Blackbird Studios. She has completed that program and currently works in a major studio, performes her music live, and is writing new songs for an upcoming release.
In Don’t Tell Mom, Alex sings lead and background vocals, plays bass, acoustic and electric guitars.
Ana is about to complete her nursing degree at Northern Michigan University to become a Registered Nurse in May of 2023. She is deeply involved as the President of the Student Nursing Association at NMU, and in 2021 had the idea to develop a new program at the school that focuses on nurses dealing with trauma from what they see in the field. That program has been accepted by the University and will be active in 2023. Currently, she is attending school, working both in the medical industry and the restaurant industry, is performing her music and covers in various Michigan live music establishments, and has been inspired to write a dozen new songs. She is prepping to record many of those new songs for an upcoming release.

Ariana lives in North Carolina as a student enrolled at High Point University. A passionate baker and chef, Ari started her own baking business ‘Bitty’s Bagels’ in High School. When deciding where to go to college, she was set on enrolling in the CIA or ICE in New York to study the culinary arts. After vising those schools along with High Point University, she became attracted to the entreprenurialism aspects that High Point focuses on. After receiving the Presedential Scholarship High Point, she started attending there focusing on the studies of Psychology, Entreprenurialism, with a special focus on Baking and Pasteries. In 2022, she started the Culinary Arts Club at the University.
In Don’t Tell Mom, Ari sings lead and background vocals, plays bass, keyboards and percussion.
